SCORE released in North America
LOS ANGELES — After nearly three years of production and a limited theatrical run, SCORE: A Film Music Documentary is now available on home video and digital platforms such as iTunes and Amazon.
"It feels like the big day has finally arrived," said director Matt Schrader, a first-time filmmaker who left his job as a television news producer and invested his savings into camera and editing equipment for the film.
SCORE later launched crowdfunding campaigns to fund the remainder of the film, including equipment, travel and post-production. In the past year, SCORE has earned top honors at eight film festivals in North America in 2017, making it one of the most critically acclaimed crowdfunding-supported documentaries ever produced.
"We had no idea setting out that we'd be making anything that could win even one film festival award," Schrader said.
SCORE is available on iTunes, Amazon and other digital stores in North America, and is available in more than 100,000 households via cable on-demand services. To learn more about where you can see SCORE, visit our Watch page.
